What is Augmentin (amoxicillin/clavulanate)?
Augmentin (awg men tn) is a combination antibiotic that contains amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Augmentin does not treat infections caused by viruses. Using antibiotics indiscriminately can increase your risk of developing infections in the future that are resistant to antibiotic treatment.
Augmentin may have other uses - your healthcare professionals can give you further information and medical advice.
